Habitat : Koreocobitis naktongensis is typically found in the main bodies of river, ranging from 20 to 200 m wide amongst bedrock, boulder, cobble and gravel riffles, with moderate to torrential current. Diet unknown.
Seems to prefer deeper riffle than does Koreocobitis rotundicaudatus.

Range:  Endemic to South Korea(Nakdong River).

Threats : Revetment constructions for flood control, dredging, mines, quarries, livestock farmlands sewage, and impoundments appear to be main threats.

Conservation action : A recovery plan was proposed by National Fisheries Research and Development Institute.
