Habitat : Headwaters in mountainous region, ranging from 2 to 50 m wide amongst bedrock, cobble riffles and pools with fast current, with cool(lower than 20¡É during summer), clear water. The shore is typically forested. Feeds mainly on invertebrates and small fish.
Range: Endemic to South Korea.
Threats : Revetment construction, dredging, highland croplands, and impoundment are main threat. Sewage, polluted sediments, and high water temperature appear to have limited populations to upper head water.
Conservation action : No report on conservation management plan.
