On My Way Back

At the MSP Airport, it took for a while to find a line for the Northwest Airline. I did not know the Northwest has already been mergered by the Delta. If I knew, I would ask somebody which one is better. The Delta does not really sound like it is good at beating up the northwest's coldness.

It seems that I firstly was not considered as an appropriate person to have a aisle seat.  It is for busy people and not for me who have nothing to do in airplane but counting how many times people next to me run to the restroom and eat something. Yes, I am not like a person who finish four bowls of noodle, three glasses of tea and two meals on seat.

The window seat brought me a little bit of fortune. I enjoyed watching the scenary beyond the window.

* Above the Saskatchewan Province, Canada.
First of all, I was extraordinarily happy to travel around the Canada without any permission from the Canadian government.  The Canadian government may not want me who used to drink a way too much in the U.S, because they have nothing but the northern redbelly dace, Phoxinus eos, to show me.  I could find the Central Canada is not a very attractive region. The Saskatchewan, at least, is more flattend and colder than Minnesota. I truly hope people there could enjoy their life with northern redbelly dace, Phoxinus eos, that is so common there.

 What a good luck! The picture shown above can be the superbest example of  "meandering stream".  I have always needed a picture of meandering stream, but it has been very hard to get one since the South Korea is mountainous and there are few rivers unchannelized and still meandering.

* Above the Alaska, U.S.
It has been a big shame that I did not know how the Alaska looks like although the Alaska is right on my way back to South Korea. Most of the freshwater lakes and small rivers were still frozen. Mountains there were covered with thousands year-old ice sheet. It was the moment when I felt more in depth how fancy the freshwater fish there are.

I wondered if the waterbody shown in the picture is a big river, a glaciated lake or a narrow bay. In any case, there are probably alaska whitefish, Coregonus nelsoni, and alaska blackfish, Dallia pectoralis under those freezing cold waterbodies. When thinking about them, a flight attendant came and asked me for shut the window. I will discuss the fish with anybody except her.
