Habitat: Coarse sand and gravel bottomed riffles or pools connected to rivers, lagoons, or reservoirs with moderate to fast cureent. Feeds mainly on benthic invertebrates.

Range: Endemic to the Korean Peninsula: North Korea(East Sea slope) and South Korea(East Sea slope: south to Goonseon River in Gangneung County).
