Habitat: Mud, coarse sand, and gravel bottomed riffles or pools connected to large rivers or lakes with low to moderate cureent and run less than 1m deep. Feeds mainly on benthic invertebrates.

Range: Endemic to South Korea(Nakdong River, Hyeongsan River, Taehwa River).

Remarks: A popular food fish in Gyeongsangbuk Provinces. Also, a nice aquarium fish.
