Habitat: Seemingly prefers small rivers with gravel and coarse sand bottom and low to moderate current. The shore is typically vegetated. Majority of the rivers where this species has been found is underflow streams.
Range: Endemic to South Korea (north to Yeongdok county and south to Kijang county of the Busan Metropolitan City).
