Habitat: Coarse sand, gravel, rocky bottomed riffles with moderate to torrential current. Feeds mainly on benthic invertebrates.

Range: Native to Northeast Asia:  western North Korea, South Korea (Han River, Jinwi River and Nakdong River drainages), northeastern China.
