Habitat: Coarse sand and mud bottomed river with low to moderate current. Seems to prefer deep, richly vegetated, and turbid water. Feeds mainly on invertebrates.

Range: Russian Far East, North Korea, South Korea(Han River, Ganghwa Island, and Botong Creek), eastern China, northern Vietnam.
