Habitat:  Richly vegetated rivers and large drain channels with silt and sand substrate and low current. Seemingly prefers deep and turbid water. Feeds on invertebrates, small fish and plants.

Range:  Western North Korea, South Korea(Imjin, Han, Keum and Mangyeong River), eastern China, northern Vietnam. 

Remarks:  A popular game fish in the Lower Keum River(Chungcheongnam Province).
