 Habitat:  Middle and lower reaches of large rivers with silt, fine sand bottom and moderate to fast current. Seemingly prefers shallow, turbid and richly vegetated river. Feeds mainly on algae.

  Range:  Endemic to South Korea (Han River, Keum River and Nakdong River drainages).
